Screw feeders

Screw conveyors are widely used in the process of transporting dry, loose or wet fine, medium and coarse-grained materials over short distances within a process plant.

Screw feeder - division

Screw conveyors can be used as closures for grain silos and hoppers and serve as both receiver and feeder. An advantage of our screw feeders is that they are manufactured in various versions. They can be divided as follows:

By type of transport into:

• horizontal,
• inclined with inclination
• inclined with inclination
• vertical screw feeder,

With regard to the design of screw conveyors, we can distinguish between SR type tubular screw conveyors and SK type trough screw conveyors.

The screwshafts can be made as: solid, ribbon, vane and shape in unidirectional or reverse conveying systems.

The screw feeder drive can be made on a belt transmission or with a geared motor.

We offer screw feeders manufactured with various diameters and lengths, which are individually agreed with the customer. Conveyors longer than 4 m are manufactured with intermediate bearings as standard. We are technically capable of producing auger shafts with a total length of up to 8m without intermediate bearings.

Screw conveyors can be manufactured from carbon steel as well as acid-resistant steel and, at the customer's request, can be made from steel with increased wear resistance. Stainless elements are subjected to, among other things, glazing.

Applications for screw feeders

We offer a stainless steel screw feeder, which, depending on the model, may be used for loading silos, is used on farms (e.g. transport of grain and all kinds of agricultural products such as grain) and in the broadly defined agricultural industry. It can be used for a variety of industries, including those related to food.

It is possible to use an inverter to infinitely regulate the shaft speed and thus the speed of material transport.
