Linear vibrating screens

Linear vibrating screens are equipment used to separate and sort materials based on size and shape. They use vibration to sift materials through screens or strainers that have different openings or mesh sizes.

The main advantage of linear vibrating screens is their efficiency and precision. Thanks to the vibration, it is possible to efficiently separate different fractions of the material, enabling the optimal use of raw materials in many industries. These screens are used in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, recycling and many other industries.

Linear vibrating screens are available in a variety of sizes and configurations to suit specific production needs. They can also be adapted to operate in harsh environments such as high temperatures or humidity.

Compared to other types of screens, linear vibrating screens are characterised by fast and efficient screening of materials, resulting in increased production efficiency. In addition, they are also relatively easy to maintain and operate.

Linear screens consist of several main components that work together to efficiently screen and separate materials. Here are the basic building blocks of linear screens:

1. the screen support frame

2. the riddle of the vibrating screen

3. the screens of the vibrating screen ( from 1 deck to multiples of 1 deck, generally have one two three or four vibrating decks.

Screens come in different designs :

  • made of polyurethane with different meshes
  • as slot screens in stainless, normal and manganese steel
  • as woven screens and similar
  • as welded grids or as perforated sheets.

4. vibration drive

5. damping system by means of shock absorbers:

  • springs
  • rubber
  • rubber-metal
  • Rosta type
  • or spring slings
