Belt conveyors - roller conveyors

What are roller conveyors?

Roller conveyor belts are equipment used to transport materials in various industries and other fields. They consist of a long belt that moves along a predetermined route, allowing materials to be moved from one place to another. Roller belt conveyors are widely used due to their efficiency, reliability and versatility. We offer a range of conveyors, including Z-type break belt feeders.

Roller conveyors - applications

  1. Mining - conveyor belts are used in mines to transport coal, ore, sand and other materials extracted from the ground. They help to efficiently move large quantities of material over long distances.

  2. Food industry - in the food industry, roller conveyors are used to transport raw materials, such as grains, vegetables, fruit or processed products, at various stages of production.

  3. Recycling - roller conveyor belts help to segregate and transport materials for recycling, such as glass, metal, paper and plastic.

  4. Warehousing and logistics - conveyor belts are used in logistics centres and warehouses to transport pallets of goods or parcels over various distances, making distribution processes faster and easier.

  5. Heavy industry - in industries such as steel, cement and chemicals, belt conveyors transport raw materials, intermediate products and finished products between different production processes.

  6. Agriculture - industrial roller conveyor belts are used in agriculture to transport feed, grain, fertiliser and other materials.

  7. Airport transport - at airports, conveyor belts are used to transport passengers' baggage and parcels at various stages of the journey.

  8. Energy industry - in power plants, conveyor belts are used to transport fuel, such as coal, to boilers, as well as ash and other materials.

  9. Pharmaceutical industry - in drug manufacturing, roller belt conveyors help to move ingredients and products between different stages of the manufacturing process.

  10. Waste sorting - conveyor belts are also used in waste sorting processes to separate different materials such as plastic, glass, metal, paper.

Conveyor belts can be customised to suit a variety of needs and conditions, including harsh environments and heavy-duty areas. They are a key component of many production and logistics processes that enable the efficient transport of materials on a large scale. We manufacture many types of conveyor belts - feel free to contact us!

A roller conveyor belt is a complex piece of equipment that consists of many components. Here is the general design of a conveyor belt:

  • Conveyor belt - the main component of a belt conveyor. It is a long, flat belt that moves along the route and is used to transport materials. Belts can be made of different materials depending on the type of material being transported and the operating conditions;
  • supportframe - the belt is supported by a support frame that provides stability and durability;
  • drivedrums - the conveyor has two drive drums, one at the beginning and one at the end of the belt. These drums drive the belt, causing it to move. One of the drums is usually equipped with an electric motor that generates the drive;
  • support rollers- support rollers are located under the belt and serve to stabilise and guide the belt, in addition they help to avoid deformation and ensure smooth belt movement;
  • Tensioners - these maintain the correct tension on the belt. These can be rollers or other mechanisms that allow the tension of the belt to be adjusted depending on the load and operating conditions;
  • side guides - these are mounted on the sides of the belt and prevent it from slipping from the support frame;
  • motor and gearbox - an electric motor drives the belt conveyor, while a gearbox can be used to adjust the speed of the belt to the needs of the operation;
  • safety elements - the roller conveyor can be fitted with various safety elements, such as sensors that monitor belt speed and tension, and emergency stops that can stop the conveyor in the event of an emergency;
  • auxiliary elements - depending on the application, the conveyor belt can be equipped with various auxiliary elements such as grinding wheels, belt washers, sorting systems.

The design of the belt conveyor is adapted to specific needs and operating conditions. Different types of belt, support frames, drives and other components are chosen depending on the type of material, transport distance and other factors. All of this is aimed at ensuring efficient and reliable material transport in various industries.

Conveyor belts, belt conveyors - our offer

We custom-make many different types of belt conveyors to suit different applications and needs in different industries. We always meet the intentions of our customers. Here are some of the main types of belt conveyors we manufacture:

  1. Flat belt conveyors - the most basic, the belt moves on a flat surface. They are widely used in many industries.

  2. Inclined belt conveyors- have an inclined belt, which allows materials to be transported at different levels. They are often used to move materials up or down, for example in mines or in the construction industry.

  3. Curved belt conveyors- these conveyors are designed with a belt that travels along curves or bends. They are used where complex material handling routes are required.

  4. Sorting conveyors - these conveyors have special elements for sorting materials, for example rollers or side belts that allow materials to be divided into different streams.

  5. Magnetic separation belt conveyors - used to remove ferromagnetic materials, such as metal, from flowing materials.

  6. Long-distance conveyor belts - are large in size and can transport materials over very long distances.

  7. Double belt conveyors - these beltconveyors have two belts running in parallel, increasing their ability to transport large cross-section materials.

  8. Conveyor beltsfor bulk materials - these are specially designed to transport sand, gravel or grains, among others.

  9. Suspended belt conveyors- in this type of conveyor, the belt is suspended from the ceiling or supports, allowing free access to the area below the belt, for example in production processes.

  10. Conveyor beltsfor the pharmaceutical industry - these are feeders specially adapted to the needs of the pharmaceutical industry, where cleanliness and hygiene in the conveying process are essential.

Choosing the right type of conveyor depends on the specific application and material handling requirements. If you need conveyor belts, contact us and we will make for you exactly the conveyor belt you want!
